Straight Edge Sandalwood Beard Comb

Size is prefect. Not to small for combing your hair, not to big and cumbersome for combing your beard. When damp it has a nice smell to it as well.

I like both sides; the carry case it comes in.

Seriously, I’ve bought and used many, and many of them broke. This one’s a beauty. Tough, yet it’s easy on those whiskers (especially when they’re a little dry).

It does what it's supposed to. I've had other combs, but this is the one I'm using now.

I'm a historical reenactor, and I care for my hair in period appropriate ways at and between events. That means I don't use shampoo and wash my hair rarely, so combing it with a very fine tooth comb is the way most of my hair care gets done between washes. This beard comb is perfect for that purpose - it's wooden, so it distributes all the oils nicely, and it has the period-appropriate shape and design with two sides and one side being very fine and the other more widely spaced, which gets dirt and ash and other stuff out of my hair very nicely!

I've bought two of these combs. The first one I mistreated very badly, washing it with soap, dropping it a lot, and forgetting to oil it after using it in water. Still, it lasted me three years before it started breaking, and another two years after that before it became unusable! Having learned a lot about how to care for these combs long term, I hope that this one will last longer. I think the product would be improved if it came with a little fact sheet about how to care for a wooden comb to keep it in good condition.

Nice solid comb. The narrow tooth side is fine enough to get out even the smallest tangles. Combined with the beard brush this is the start to a solid beard care kit.
