We use coconut oil in our cedarwood beard oil because its moisturizing properties help penetrate the hair shaft, which helps make your facial hair softer and more manageable. This can be especially helpful for new beard growers as it will help with reducing itchiness and flakiness that often comes with growing and maintaining a beard. Coconut oil is also rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins so it helps prevent split ends and breakage as well, leading to a healthier looking beard!
One of the biggest reasons we use jojoba oil in our cedarwood beard oil is because it's lightweight, non-greasy and it closely resembles that natural sebum produced by our skin. Jojoba oil is also rich in vitamins E and B-complex, which helps prevent dryness, flakiness and itchiness that often comes with maintaining a beard, as it helps moisturize both your beard and the skin underneath.
We use real cedarwood essential oil derived from the wood of cedar trees to give our cedarwood beard oil its signature warm, woodsy cedarwood scent. With no artificial fragrances in it, we use additional essential oils like lavender oil, tea tree oil and lime oil to round out its scent profile.
